Default Moon

Hi all this is my first post on this site,i took this one a few weeks ago in SW France.I had no tripod with me so this was a hand held shot with some help from a fence post using a 30D and a 400mm 5.6 lens.I set the iso to 1000 to give me a shutter speed of 1/800 and this is a 50% crop. Also can anyone tell me what size image and kb can you post here, hope you like the image,Paul.

Nice shot! I've found my steady hand to be quite unsteady so I'm always impressed with a crisp hand-held shot.

Default the moon

Paul I love your moon picture . As already pointed out great detail . This is the best I can manage with my fujifilm finepix with only as a 10 x zoom

As lots of noise . Think thats what they call it
