Talking Horse Head

horse head

Over the holdiay break I went with a friend to see her horse. I had never seen a horse before in real life besides driving down the road off in the distance. I never relalized just how huge horses are. The head is the size of mye entire torso and my head. Really incredible I found them to be pretty scary tho so I didn't get to close.

Horses are big and can be prerrt darn intimidating but just think of them as a big dog. They all have thier own personalities and most love to be petted.
Pretty neat persepctive on this guy. I really like the way you didnt do the normal straight up and down pic but took ti an angle. Gives it a wonderful personality all on its own.

I didn't even think about that I was just trying to fit the whole head into the frame and that was the only way I could do it given the lens and distance I was from the horse LOL. Yea I dunno a dog can't trample me at will at least I have a fighting chance with a dog even a fighting dog but a horse hahah no chance at all there.

The eyes on the horses are very very werid too they looked like frosted marbles it's hard to explain but they are really cool. I have a few pictures of the eyes but nothing spectaular so I don't know if I will bother uploading those images.

beautiful color and perspective.....don't kill me but i see you either used your shadow/highlight tool (the one i'm betting on) or your sharpening tool....cuz, i see a bit of haloing around the head and the halter thingy.....if it was the shadow/highlight tool you might want to look at that radius slider a bit more carefully.....increasing it can spread that "halo" out a bit so that it's less noticable...

great detail on the eyes, wish the ears were a little bit sharper (but the background is nicely blurred)

I think this is a great pic. I see a great poster of this pic. I would hang it in my girls room. horses are amazing animals I have one ( gracie ) although she is a mini - I was raised around horses. Your picture to me is a 10.
