I took this shot the first day I had my new fuji finepix s700. I was experimenting with all the funtions. This one was shot with the macro mode. Please feel free to comment.

These are real showoffs, so many varieties and colors, excellent for photos. Good framing, composition and focus here. Just that one cut-off stamen nearly spoils it. Nearly; it's still good for the 99% that is there.

These flowers are very photogenic, were you using a flash or ambient light? I'd be interested to see the other frames from this series (you are taking multiples, right? )

The stigma being cut off is a little disappointing for me. I also feel compelled to see more detail in the pollen on the anthers. I'm curious as to what the same shot with the same DOF would look like with the focus a little closer.
