Thanks jiminy. It's straight from the camera. I took the photo in a hotel parking lot where there was a big flag flying about 300 feet away up a hill. I zoomed in rather closely and used a macro focus on my camera.
As for the apple, I liked it myself when I took the picture, but upon closer inspection I noticed the marble coutner just to the left of the apple ended up in focus instead of the apple. I took the picture at night in my kitchen with just a clock radio light on outside of the shot. Any suggestions on how to make it more crisp? Also, this was my first post here. Out of curiosity, how do I post an image directly into the post without just linking to it? Thanks, Jimmy |

KingJimmy,
Here's a link to several photo host sites. Lots of us use Flickr; shop around for one you like, then go here: Posting Pictures from Photo Sharing Sites (A visual guide) for more help on posting. Mother Nature makes the best crisp apples. Yours could use more light and a first definite focus (half depressed shutter) on apple front, then move camera over (keep finger on shutter release) if you want to include counter, then take photo.
