Talking Horse of Sparks

This was a really cool shot I got last night while photographing fireworks. My dad had set off the firecrackers and I took the shot. Looking at it, I noticed the sparks took the shape of a horse erupting from the flames. Quite awesome. I bumped my camera's setting down from 8mp to 5mp as someone had suggested in my previous thread. I switched the setting to my camera's fireworks scenery and it seems to do a good job. I got my hands on a tripod so the pictures look more steady now that my hands aren't moving it during the shot.

ChaoKuang,

Sort of "Equine Phoenix Rising." Good eye.

Cropping to it would double the effect, taking away bottom and left third.

Thank you. I'll see what I can do with the cropping! Thanks for the suggestion.

This is incredible! This is definately one of those "once in a lifetime" shots! I agree with the cropping suggestion. I would also try to remove the balls of light coming from the horse's face. they can be a little distracting!!

Great shot!

Wow. Nice capture of quite a coincidence there. Too bad 2008 isn't the year of the horse, now THAT would be freaky, heh heh.

Thanks for sharing.

Here's the fire horse cropped. Hopefully this works out better!

ChaoKuang,

Only 2 days sent this one far back. Still, an illustration I think would be worth bringing it back. This is more what I thought would sell the image:

HorseX

Cropped and edges cleaned up.

My old eyes could not "see it" in the original, but the crop really brought it out. Great shot. You have to be there for luck to help you.
