Too much PShop/time-on-your-hands/champagne(?)...

Actually it does almost seem tilt-shift/miniaturish. It's an interesting approach that says Happy Holiday with a psychedelic bent.

Welcome to the forums

I've resized your picture to medium size per the forum rules (forum rules are here).

It doesn't seem too miniature-ish to me. If the background was very busy behind the tree, this may have been an improvement. The brightness of the background distracts me from the tree though. If you were going for a very bright picture, then you've succeeded, but to me, it takes the focus away from the subject.

edowit,

The soft halo along the tree edge vibrates from contrast. Champagne could help smooth that out, but I'm not willing to go that far. Good practice, and as Nicole says, maybe a different subject would work better for this effort. Good shot of the tree.
