Oklahoma City Bombing 2

I love this statue. It is a statue of Jesus weeping by the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial. Did I do it justice?

The shot is exposed for the shadowy side. The lighter side has lost all definition. Looking at the sky I see there are some little puffy areas of clouds. Waiting for one of these to dampen the harshness of the direct sunlight might do this much justice.

Thanks for pointing that out. I see it now. Would bracketing the shot have helped? What should I have done to correct the exposure? I just got started about two weeks ago. Thanks.
