Default NZ Rodeo - yes we do have cowboys

NZ Rodeo Jan 08 (2)

Happy New Year to you all - just got back from a Rodeo and before I started to work on the 100 or so pics that I took I was looking for some advice on whether you think the pic is too busy. Its difficult to cut out all the different people involved.

Cheers

Stuart

You should avoid editing pictures as much as possible, so definitely don't worry about not cutting people out

It is a little bit busy; I think zooming in more on the actual subject would bring the focus better.

This one, IMO, is a lot better: http://www.flickr.com/photos/2217191...n/photostream/

But they both have their perks. I think the second one here also shows the audience a little more wowed, than just standing there getting in the way of the picture. But great timing.

It is busy but that also tells the story behind the event and photo
all those people or most of them in shot would've had jobs to do before the gate was opened
