I can understand the purpose of getting down to the birds level but the blurred grass and leaves at the bottom of the pic is very distracting. Other then that it is a beautiful photo. Great colors.

I agree with Jen. Perhaps cropping a bit closer to the birds head will help. Its a pity its tail isnt in the picture

This second crop is better, in my opinion. The focus is definatley on the bird and not on the ground in front of it.

As for KLNYC And I agree with everyone else that the leaves are a bit distracting (although I usually really like these kind of photos-the distracting ones) His face doesn't really look that sharp to me and I think that would really bring it out since you have a really great blurred background. The feathers on his back, however, look amazing (very sharp) and I think they would look good in a shot all by themselves, if your resolution is really high you could crop them alone I think. But if you did crop the leaves out I think it would be good to crop tighter on the top as well. Beautiful colors though, amazing! |
