I like this photo, but maybe it's boring? All feedback welcome.

I thinkthe problem being that the biggest and most obvious tree is out of focus. Had it been a smaller tree I dont think it would have been so obvious

I'd try selectively blurring out the background more or saturating the focal point more. It takes a second to jump out as-is.

yes, but on seeing it I'd say that the blurred tree could be saturated more. Its all in the eye of the beholder i guess, play around with at and see what suits you.

miasmommy,

That helped to bring trees forward some. If you could add just a slight gradient, dark left and right sides, smoothly blended in to center, fewer trees would be "subjects," less chance for "boring" to be a factor.
