Hello, I'd like to hear your opinion about this shot - is it good enough or not?

I have yet to try a shot like this. I love the color in the background, but I probably would have gone for a longer exposure to get some of those streaked tail lights.

erephas, Welcome

Good enough for what? Intention is important: sometimes folks test their new cameras like this. One could say it's a ruined sunset, or an underexposed intersection. It does live up to its title, which doesn't always happen. The color is off some (notice the blue "Go" signal, center right). As an abstract, it is a bit too realistic. As a cityscape, it's too dark. So, what do you like most about it?

Nice colors. A bit busy, though. Also, I would do something about the spot of blue (maybe blacken it?). Neat angle though, and the clouds add almost a frame to the top.

Its too busy for me-too much going in in the center, and my eye has no idea where to go. I think that means it meets the definition of modern art (don't kill me, all you fans). If you cropped part of it out, you might find a different shot entirely. Play around.

If it was my shot I would paint out the lights in the foreground as they are quite distracting. I'd try to alter the sky at the top of the image to match the tone in the middle of the image. But I do like it though. Well done.

This is a very interesting shot. I especially like how you seem to have framed the sky light. I agree with the comments above with regards to them saying there is a tad too much going on. Nevertheless, this is a good and unique shot. Keep up the good work.

Happy New Years!
