Default moonset

moonset
Taken with my A520 this summer in an astronomy camp in the eastern Carpathians. The crescent moon setting over a mountain, creating perfect conditions for a long night of stargazing I've mounted the camera on the eyepiece of my 70/700mm telescope with an adapter.

vesitata,

Yet another level of quality, for certain a more professional look. Career or hobby interest in Astronomy?

Thank you. I'd call it a passion:P. And hopefully it will become my career. I'm planning to become an astronomer one day. That's why I'm going to a physics university after graduating from highschool.
The 400D is one of the most commonly used dslr amongst amateur astronomers, mainly because it's low noise at long exposures...today I got myself a tripod... can't wait for the sky to clear out

vesitata,

How good it is to hear a positve plan for the future that did not include "American Idol" or a snowboard. Best of luck to you on your orbit through life, and may your galaxies continue to expand.

(Too much? I'm tired)

Thanks for the positive feedback...Although it's far from perfect..there is some purple and green coloring between the trees...chromatic aberration from the telescope's lense. And the noise is still observable after reducing it in Neat Image.

vesitata,

All that is less important (sure, we noticed) than the choice of composition and overall quality of moon. It's about balance; really good part outweighs c/a and noise. You can be perfect in the future.
