Wow - looks cool! To my inexperienced eyes... it feels like its more important to have the head in focus over the body? I'm not sure if you could have tweaked the depth of field a little to allow more of the iguana to appear in focus?

Some cool colours going on there... there's something about the shade of red coming through from the bark that I really love!

What james_c said, and when possible, place head either up in the light background a little more, or lower into the darker area more. An alignment/intersect is one of those distracting elements. Colors are good.
