Went out to photo the moon, which did not work out as planned however managed to take this instead, all thoughts welcome. I think it could be missing something on the left, but then could be wrong .

You nailed a good one I like it alot. I think if you could do anything to improve it would to have stepped out closer to the scene and eliminated the spit of dirt or log in the for ground. If you were using a telephoto that was the time to use the zoom. Welcome to DPS.

I would think the moon in the left would have been awesome. But hey- you can't move the planets for a shot?! Right?!? :-) Great job and welcome!
