Hello mate nice shots.
Im new here to.
I would probably crop in a bit tighter on the bottle top and use manual focus to get it really sharp.

In all honesty the images seem to be missing something. The top seems a little bland, possibly work on composition and add background. As for the picture on the bottom of the Coca-Cola bottle, I find the image to have an interesting perspective, however, the clarity and the bright flash on the cap takes away from the image. Just keep practicing or imitate shots that other people have taken.

=)

Here is my perspective of my drink...

I would use manual focus however, camera is a Fuji Finepix S700 and it has no manual focus to my knowledge...

EDIT: Do you guys think I should crop out the bottom corner?

lasershot,

We nearly all have had that first taste of "Fame!" from having found a place to show our creations. DPS thrives on it, encourages it in fact. But limits really do get a better result, so pick your best shot each time (or worst if you need help with a problem), and you'll find there are more than enough threads and topics to post your work.

At first look, tree appears to lean right. I checked three ways and found it is an illusion. It would be much more interesting if the decorations were more complete (especially the top), or if something stood out amongst the dark dark green. The wall reflection grabs attention, as do the shadows on right. Yes, the bottom left could go, cloning instead of cropping (which would put tree on frame or beyond it). If you want to remember this tree, your photo works as a reminder. If you want an exciting photo, consider another subject, or set tree on fire in parking area. Half kidding. If you want to stretch your imagination, this tree is an exercise in tough makeovers. Rethink it, try to look beyond the obvious, put it somewhere trees aren't usually found. Think about lighting, background, framing in camera.

See what happens with one photo per thread?
