Default Fishing at Sunset

Fishing at Sunset BW

Would love some advice/critique of shot. Taken on top of a sand dune looking down onto a sloping beach. How could I better frame such a shot?

Uh, this is great! I like it the way it is. I would leave those guys in the center (to look important) The horizon is also near the center, and the sun is in golden ratio, kind of fixing the scene. This composition gives a really strong impression.. But, I would also suggest you to experiment with different framings and see what happens.

I like it pretty well this way. If you wanted to frame it differently I'd put the guys off to one side (probably the right side, since the foreground is lower there) and maybe change your horizon up or down a bit. I find that I instinctively tend to put my subjects on one side of the frame or the other--centering things just never feels right.

cklfc0 I'm No Photography Guru But I Say Leave It As Is. I Love How It Came Out.
Centering The Subjects No Motion Blur Or Noise. Wonderful Shot Keep It Up. By the Way Do You Have This In Color? I'd Love To See The Sunset And The Water In Color.

Default wow

I really like the shot how it is....the sky is awesome! Fantastic shot... This is really tiny the ony thing I wish would be a little seperation between the person on the left and the plants...but what do i know. I really like the plant on the left side sticking out naturally framing the bottom corner....again wow!

Default Very nice

I like everything about this shot. It is not easy to get a sky like that without blowout. It is a very powerful & moving picture

Great Shot.

But since you're asking about other ways to frame it, I thought the picture would be interesting with a vertical framing.

Not sure if it looks better, but definitely acheives a different feel for the photo
