It was just some random shoot to document my improvement, no make up on the my model, was after a long days work, but she was sweet enough to model for me. Thanks M!

As usual please critique so i can keep learning. Thanks once again

Wonderful improvement. It's been great seeing how you've grown in your skills as a photographer through your posts on the forum.

Major improvement. I really like the shot you posted, but wood have liked it better if you had shot it without the shadow covering part of her left eye.

Thank you Wood. I really did not notice that. Thats why i love the forum so much. Did not have anyone to hold a reflector up to fill the other side and i have only one light. Did the best i could, with my set up. But will defiantly keep it in mind when i shoot next. Thanks

kunaldaswani,

I do remember the portrait from March, and the process of change over the last few months is clearly shown in your latest photo. That's encouraging; I've watched that happen over and over with those who post often with shots and comments.

This portrait is strongly dramatic, lighting soft enough to favor beauty, letting shadows blend into pure black. Eyes, if there was ever a case of "eyes making the portrait," here it is. Very well done; thank you for the inspiration this year too.

I haven't followed your progress, but this is a fantastic portrait. Dramatic and...well beautiful! And not just because of the stunning model. Nicely done.
