Here's some help for posting:

Limiting the longest side of photo to 600 pixels fits the layout. It also cuts down on page loading time, and gives everyone the same exposure.

First impression: barnacles are sharp, photo is not. There is one small area in left center that is OK. The foreground barnacle with the green peeking out would be a good subject if it were in focus. A second reflected light from right would help give some definition to the deep shadows at the bases.

Macros are my favorite, so these minor changes are suggested for giving a clearer presentation of your subject.
