Default Yosemite Falls

Went to Yosemite a couple days ago. Perfect weather, and beautiful views. I havn't been there in winter before and it was definitely an experience.

This is a shot of Yosemite Falls. Earlier in june this year, my father and I hiked to the top of it, I start to get short of breath just looking at it, lol.

Some nice elements to this shot. Lovely reflection and I like the log in the water for added interest. Not so sure the branches on the top right add anything though.

Thanks, yea I was thinking of doing some tighter cropping to get rid of those branches, and the shadows on the water from the bridge.

Lovely shot. I don't know if a tight crop would do any good. I would try to clone out the branches. Once again..a lovely shot. Well done

Thanks, it really is a beautiful place. Living only about 3-4 hours away really is nice. If you ever get a chance, I definitely recommend going.

EDIT: Well I stamped out those branches, and like the effect.

Also, there are other shots from the trip on my Flickr account if anyone wants to check them out...I may or may not post them up on the boards.

deathbyevilspoon,

Photo 008 shows grandeur of mountains well and 009 suggests the beginning of Winter. Good set. Edit is an improvement, too.

Awesome picture. I was there a few summers ago and did the same hike with my Dad and Uncle. I want to go back so bad.
