Even with the lack of interesting sky and minus the rest of the reflections at the bottom of the image, I think this is more interesting shot. I like how the chairs sorta follow the reflection of the skyline, but the reflections at the bottom are chopped off.

Rule of thirds: Sky = top third, subject = middle third, reflection = bottom third. Horizontally: crop to near right and left of subject. Optional: include a little extra mountain left or right.

Thanks FrankenPengie. The rule of thirds suffered through the fact that the day this was taken I was celebrating with my partner, and apart from the consumption of much alcohol, had shortly before stumbling across this scene, stumbled from the top of a rock, performing a very nice nose dive into other awaiting rocks, causing the spillage of a reasonable amount of blood, and resulting in mild concussion.

In many ways it was lucky enough that the camera was at least pointed in the right direction. LOL.

I was wondering how the furniture got in the middle of the lake.

I lift my scotch and offer a toast to learning. It is indeed an under-rated, and never-ending process, unless we are unwilling to participate.
