Default The Palouse in October

New to photography, but got this picture earlier in the fall. It was so pretty outside I had to pull over to get a shot. I would appreciate any constructive criticism to help me grow.

An excellent picture that shows the colours of the fields and sky really well. It would be helped if you rotated it to get the horizon straight.

Cheers

Thank you for the tip, Tim. I am getting Photoshop CS3 Extended Version in the mail from my old school's bookstore (alumni discount rocks), and am excited to play around with it. The only photoshop I've ever used in my life is version 6 so I hope it's not extremely difficult for me to figure out. I will definitely mess around with the horizon line to see what I get.

Perfect! ...other than the horizon being off. Nice bright colors and a wonderful contrast. These are great days to find a nice location like this and wait for the clouds shadows to find the right spot(s).

Try cropping out a bit from the top so you can focus more on the land. The blue in the picture is very nice but it looks a bit empty on the top right.
