First light on rosebud

On a cold winter morning, I saw the soft rays of the morning sun push their way through the dense fog and kiss this rosebud good morning. Before I set out for my trek, I couldn't resist the sight.



I liked the tight wrap of the petals, and the mood of early dawn.

i like the background and your dof seems to be right on the money but for a shot like this I think the tiny petals should also be more in focus.
But you have roses blooming? I'm jealous. Altho its been close to 50 we are looking at snow in a couple of days and still have snow ont he ground from the last storm

Nice shot, I agree with windrider, the pedals should maybe also be in focus, but the DOF is amazing

Thank you both for taking a look, I guess I should have gone for a sharper focus. In most parts of India, we get roses in winter and winter temperatures are like spring in USA or most of Europe.
