I took this shot in India. Day was very hazy and the sun was low in the sky.

I like the colors of this photo but it does seem to be a little bit blurry(???)

You have some wonderful architecture to photograph. It appears a bit closely cropped. Is there more on the original?

I took this picture at the Red Fort in Agra. I cropped in too far when I took the shot, unfortunately. You are right, it does look like a painting, without photoshop.. I think the haze and the colors make it appear this way.

Photography is only a hobby right now..but would love to sell my work someday.

Does my work show any promise?

You have framed the picture well but I would have liked to see more of the frame. I also agree that the picture is a bit blurry.

If you took a picture of a big building and cropped out an itty bitty portion of it, then you know why it looks burry and odd. I think the lesson to be learned here is to find, and frame your subject. If you can't get close, use available optical zoom.
