Hi Douglas, I love crosswords, too, particularly the Sunday ones.

Your shot looks nicely in focus with good lighting. I like the inclusion of all the paraphernalia that you'd use, but there may be a little too much on the table. Perhaps a closer shot with just the crossword, pencil and one dictionary with the glasses might be enough. Try shooting at an unusual angle, for example much lower, to get a different perspective.

Overall, nice idea, just try again with a few tweaks.
