I too love hdr but am not a big fan of the cartoony effects. You did get this at a wonderful angle and if this was the look you were going for, you did a great job

Besides sometimes having a bit of an over-stylized look to it, HDR always seems to create a nasty halo-ing effect around small details like tree branches. I might try taking your original and using this tone-mapped version as an adjustment layer. Then mask in parts like the wheels and the body in at different opacities so you get a more subtle look. I would probably leave out places like the background, tires, and back cover, as they should be the darker parts of the image, but here they're very washed out from the amount of highlights the tone-mapping merged in.
Experiment and see what happens!

Here's my dilemma with overdone HDR. This kinda looks like a painting. With that in mind it looks really cool. But knowing it's a photograph takes away from it, 'cause I wonder what was so wrong with the photograph.
All in all, it's nifty... and, that's about it really.

Thank you all for the comments! I agree it does look too cartoon'ish, I was using Qtpfsgui for the first time and was having a heck of a time trying to get something that didn't look destroyed, or non-HDR. I'm still trying to get an eye for when enough is enough.
