Ironically enough, the first thing that leaps to mind has nothing to do with the night photography-ness. I'd rotate it counter-clockwise a smidge. It feels lopsided and it's actually a little distracting.
More to your own question, however, I might've exposed it a little longer. I like the dark feel, but it maybe could've stood to expose a little longer. If you were shooting handheld, then maybe crank the ISO from 100 down to maybe 400 or so. Even 800 is forgivable depending on the shot. |

The horizon seems a little off to me maybe the street is a little off camber.

The street is on a hill. I was debating for a while on whether or not to rotate. I didnt try it too see but my issue with that is then the lights dont lead into the corner as much anymore although I totally agree with it being distracting. i guess I'll just have to get back out there and try it again.

The camera doesn't make a bit of difference. All of them can record what you are seeing. But, you have to SEE! |

The light posts should be straight up and down, or have some vertical direction depending on perspective. All of the posts are tilted to the right, even the ones at the top of the hill. It's not as important to look at the lines as it is to look at the lines that are important.
