I like the placement of the gator I think the colors look good as well. I would have liked to see a little more background blur in the image I see you shot this at F4 I believe does your lens open up anymore then that at that focal length? Opening the lens up so more may have reducded the depth of feild to much so the gators face may be a little soft if that turned out to be the case then I think you make the correct selection wtih F4.
