Default Angel Figurines!

Angel Figurines

I took this photo using my Olympus 790 (7.1 MegaPx)

I copied the stair like thing in a class picture and I used 2 dictionaries as a substitute to that. I was about to make a stop motion animation for Youtube about the birth of Christ but I kinda got bored so...

The Figs is a little bit old so it is dusty...

No Editing/Photoshops Used
Any heart crushing comments? LOL

Here's the actual size

It looks a little over exposed to me. Were you using the flash? And which mode were you using? I might try putting the camera into P mode and using ISO 100, but putting the camera on a tripod (or some books, whatever you have ) with the timer set so that it's not moving when you press the shutter.

By the way, the 790 is a nice little camera. If you want to join the Flickr group I have for it, feel free to come share your pictures there. It'd be great to actually have another person using the camera in the group

I find the shaodws distracting, I think you need at least two light sources for this image. One on each side about 45 deg from the camera. Try to cast smaller shadows to show the texture and detail on the figures but not so much to throw long sharp dark shadows onto the background. Also the picture looks a little over exposed but I think the shadows are doing more damage to the image then a slight exposer problem.

That's what I was going to say! hehe.

The shadows are distracting - that's the only heart crushing comment I have
