Playing with Christmas Light Photos

Could I get some opinions on this shot I took?



Aperture: f/5.6
Exposure Compensation: -2 EV
Shutter Speed: 1/90
ISO Speed: 250

Hardly any post-processing except a quick curves adjustment and slight saturation boost.


Do you think I should have exposed it more? Could I have made a different crop? Also, do you think I should have included that in focus bulb in the foreground or not? Thanks!

I think the exposer is a little to dark. I like the light in the foreground and the lights in the background blurred out. I also like the darkness but it's to dark you really have to look to see the other bulb and wire.

i think i would have left that bulb and it's wire out of the image....making more of an abstract out of it...but, that's just my thought because i really like the perfectly round spheres floating around and overlapping.....

Yes I think it is a nice shot, maybe upped the exposure a bit, definitely left out the wire with bulb.
