because her skin seems to be just a bit off color i might suggest doing this in a black and white.
what settings where you using?
you are very lucky, she is quite beautiful

I quite like the colours although it would be worth taking some time to both play with this picture in post-processing and also to experiment with white balance and exposure settings next time you do a photo shoot.

I find the pose a little odd though - specifically, her hand reaching round the back of her neck looks weird because so much of the arm is truncated. I think you could have framed this one a little more to the left - you don't necessarily have to include her arm all the way to the tip of the elbow but I think a little more would help confirm that it is her arm and not somebody elses!

Seem like she was going for the sexy hand behind the head look, which I think she pulled off quite well.

Over all I think its a nice shot, but with the right post processing could be a great shot.

I checked out your photo's on Flickr. They all need more light. A flash bounced off the ceiling or a wall would have worked wonders on all your shots. It's all the shadows on her face & neck that bother me the most. Maybe get yourself some tin foil & place it below her & to the left to reflect some light from below. Just a thought.

Thanks for all your comments!

I agree the lighting in the photos is pretty shameful, Just had a few desk lamps and I don't have an external flash yet :-(

I did a bit of post processing in iPhoto, took out alot of orangeness that was in the images (wish i'd shot in RAW now)

The pose was going for the sexy look. Point taken on showing a bit more of the arm, i see where ya coming from.

Cheers

Yup, that right there is probably your biggest problem. You didn't have your camera set for the proper white balance, & when you try to correct it with PPing, the pic gets all mucky looking. Good luck on your next try.

BTW, mucky looking, is a technical term I use only on the rarest of occasions.

I think I read somewhere that you should not cut any limbs off at any of the joints. Sorry, I can't remember the site that I read it from
