Default Warehouse Door

Took this while roaming San Diego this past weekend. Don't know if I over did the contrast. Any suggestions are appreciated!

i like it i wouldnt mind seeing this from a "down low" perspective, the orange / road in the front does draw your eye to the bottom though maybe it is the contrast. If posible see if you can do a "down low and dirty" shot on it (tip on the blog on how to do it) i think that door has alot of detail that isnt captured in this photo (ie the rust marks and way it will be bubbling off the door)

justnisdead,

If we knew your camera specs, it might help to explain the slight 'curving' at top and bottom. Some lenses don't handle straight edges well. Beyond that, when I took away all of the lighter part of the top of the building, those doors popped. Good choice of subject, potential for a better look; experiment.

at first I looked at the picture and thought 'it's too centered' but then I came to appreciate this in the differences between the sides, the posts on one side compared to the fence, the shiny half of the wall vs the dark dirty part, the clean panes of class compared to the other side, the door differences..
I rather enjoy this picture as an overall with everything being the focus and not really detracting or distracting me from any other part of it.

Love this shot. Shots like these I can look at forever.

My only critique is that I would fix the lens distortion and make the ground lighter with the dodge tool.

Either great work!!!!
