Great shot! what a great pose was this taken at a zoo? I don't see much that could be improved on the photo with out nitpicking it to death. You have the bear off to the left side there are very very distrating elements. Perhaps the only thing I would do is reduce the saturation in the background slightly.

One thing I noticed you shot this at 4.5 maybe stopping it down a stop or two could help increase the sharpness of the bears face.

beautiful work....
i find the focus appealing and the end result exposure dead on with plenty of detail in the shadows.....i do believe that rainy day worked to your advantage by reducing the overall contrast of your image....and what a light hand you have in post work.....

very well done both in camera and out....

I think making the rain more pronounced would also be interesting. The fur would also probably have a different sheen when wet compared to dry. Although I don't know how to make that kind of shot - never had the opportunity. A zoom perhaps on the face to capture the droplets of water on the hair.

It is very rare that I see animal shots in the rain, and this image stands on its own. Great shot indeed.

What a great picture, I love the sunbears expression(it matches mine after watching my football team the Chicago Bears play). Great shot!!
