Default C n C my flower shot :)

Hello all,

Been on this forum for few months and everyone here is very helpful here.
Here's a picture I took over Thanksgiving weekend. Long story short..I like to hear some CnC.. Thanks ya

Hi Ken,
Good exposure, nice tonal qualities and range. Sharp and adequate depth of field. May want to consider cropping out the dark space at the bottom of the frame. The stamen/pistil leads your eye right down to it.

i agree with clockdoc..didn't really notice anything wrong with it except the big empty space in the bottom of the frame.

I love it! But like others have said - I'd crop off the empty space at the bottom.

You didn't list your settings, but if possible I would have shot it with the lens open more to have a more shallow depth of field. I find the flowers in the background to be either not out of focus enough or too in focus but blurry - I think they distract from the foreground.

I think that it is the colour of the main flower blending in with the background a bit.

The colour is good though.
