Default My First portaits

This is my favorite of 20 or so shots of my sister.

Don't usually do a lot of portraits but i agreed to do some for my sister, and it didn't turn out too bad in my eyes.

Also i couldn't decide if i should crop out the flowers in the foreground or leave them what do you think about that?

I vote leave the flowers!

My eye immediately went to the out of focused flower. My vote is to take it out.

I like the flowers. If them being out of focus is an issue for your sister, you can always clone the background ones that are in focus, over the foreground ones that aren't. But, all flowers aside, your sister should be very pleased with this shot. You did an excellent job capturing her beauty. Did you do any post-processing?

I think the background is more distracting than the flowers. But you can't really photoshop that much out.

Ok i updated the picture and made her eyes a little bluer(if thats how you spell it :P) other that that no other post-processing, And we diden't have a problem with the focus of the flowers just wondering if they are distracting.

EDIT: yeah the background is a little distracting but unfortunately i cant remove the rose bush or the fence ect. :P

That's quite an unnatural blue. And yes to the distracting. The background is a throw-off too.
