I prefer more "air" to the right. In fact, perhaps you could have an even amount of space on either side of the span of the branches? Because the one on the left is substantially shorter, that would take care of the spacing itself. You would be left with more breathing space than the second edit but a result that is slightly less centred than the first one offered.

Well spotted. I love trees in the winter when there are no leaves. The branches take on a whole new personality. And since you opted to do this in a black and white i am even more fond of it.
