using filter I assume or do you have camera modified?
I was thinking about getting a IR filter but am unsure of some of the stuff that goes with it. First of all why is the 72-40 dollars and the 90-340 dollars? I think those were the two choices. Also they don't look like this out of the camera do they?

Carl -- I really like the shot. Great composition, love the lines leading to the center, not too busy, and the IR looks both unique and appropriate for the scene. Makes me want to try IR.

I just looked up IR filters on Adorama and I can see why everyone ends up with the 52mm Hoya RM-72. It's $38 compared to $245 for the same thing in 72mm!! What the heck? Also, the 52mm RM-90 is $235. Why is the first one so much cheaper?

Anyway, very cool shot.
