Default Chillen in the WooD

I took this shot way back when I had my Canon S2 IS.

I can't for the life of me figure out why I like it so much. I'd have to say out of the thousands of pictures I've taken, this is in my top 20.

I mean look at it.....it's just a couple wood chairs on a trail in a park that runs along the ICW.

Can someone tell my why I always keep coming back to this shot?

Maybe I should put my cameras up for a while, and get back to surfing more.

Don't waste your time with such questions. Why you like it is not important. That you like it is. The eye is like the tongue sometimes it enjoys something and sometimes it does not and you may find that in time what you enjoy may change!

The picture talks to me of peace, serenity and a offering for one to come and relax. In this world of rush-rush-rush and get ahead, time to stop and smell the roses can be a powerfull elixir.

Shift your thought from why do you like it to how you can display it so you can enjoy it more.

WooD,

Art Critic, Psychologist, and Photographer wood probably give you three separate answers. To me, it is a simple scene, and shows two things that appear comfortable with each other, as they are, where they are. Nothing flashy, no need for anything to "pop," just real life.

What we "see" in photos tells a lot about us.
