Default Night Painting

Hi All,

Was out and about in the park with friends when one friends asked me how to capture night shots, i was explaining her through the process without having a tripod and this one came through...with all the hand shake of a 20sec exposure ... i was dreading the outcome but it came out as a rather nice and soft painted effect.

Night Painting

Please post your suggestions and views. Also can somebody please help and guide me in removing the lights which are at both bottom corners, Thanks in advance.

Thanks

It has an interesting abstract feeling to it I think.
As for removing the lights streams, it's going to be pretty difficult with all the subtle nuances, especially on the left side where it goes from tree to sky to tree again in very small areas. Luckily with all the blur you can probably get away with it. I would try using the spot healing brush first, where you basically just paint over the areas you want taken out, and it should fix it for you. Press J to get the healing brush, and it asks you to define a point, go to the brush on your palette and right click it to change to the spot healing brush.

this image i actually like.....it's moody and dark and has just enough detail to keep it trees instead of an abstract.....because it's so blurred, cleaning out those white spots should be relatively easy.....i'd use a clone tool with the hardness set to zero.....

thanks for sharing
