Sunset on Austrian Highway

This is one of the first shots I took with my new Eos 400d... Couldnt keep myself from playing around with it while in the car^^
It was shot with the kit lens.

great catch! I cant count the times I see scenes I'd loveto catch but Im driving.
The shot is unbalanced in my eyes. Too much dark trees to the right and nothing much giving height the the left...The sun painting the road is awesome! Maybe a portrait crop would work here....I don't know. I would play around a bit and see if eliminating some of the left side would help.....there are also a couple flares in the sky that could cloned out..

hey, really nice shot, i wish i had talent enough to drive and take pictures like you. perhaps crop some off the top of the picture? there is a lot of space with the darker clouds, and although it gives a nice contrast to the bright sun below the dark clouds, it kinda seems to me like there is a bit too much of the dark cloud area. but besides that i liked everything
