Too busy. What is this picture supposed to be about. The spring or the tree if it's the tree crop it so it's mostly the tree. and if its the water make it more water. If it's supposed to be both crop it in a bit. Enjoy. Oh also try making it follow the rule of thirds also by cropping it just to to the right because of the little stone ledge on the right.

It might be my monitor but it seems that the greens are a bit blue and the blues are a bit green. I like the rocks on the side but I think it could use some more of them.

What is your central subject for this shot? A little dark and hard to read on my monitor.

rlarsen,

A lass on a float in the sunlight would be a good way to focus on a subject, as much as I appreciate the colors you have here. That span from bright Sun to deep shadow is a good place to practice exposure setting. Looks like a pleasant vacation site, too.

The subject for me is the water and palms. I like the color of the water.

Thanks for providing the followup to my question. While I appreciate what you saw in the scene (water color and palms), I suspect your view and memory of the scene was greater than what was able to be recorded with the camera. Your biggest enemy here is the quality and quantity of light falling on your subject.
