One Frame

I wanted to make a picture that looks like it is "one frame" that has been taken out from a movie. The picture below consists of three plates (two characters and a background) that were shot separately.

I don't know how that one frame would look much different from any photo but I think this is a great photo! I love the close crop the B&W and the subject.

I would say the pose is the primary reason. You don't see often photos of two people shot at 45 degree with one subject facing the camera and the other is out-of-focus. This composition is what you usually see in television and cinema.
