Welcome to the forums....always great to see new members. You might want to read the forum rules on posting...
The 'Rules' for this Critique Forum it makes it easier for all if there is only one photo which you would like opinions on an maybe some info on the conditions and settings used. That would help us better critique your shot. I really like the second one...1st and 3rd are a bit noisy but really don't know the conditions you are shooting in. The second seems to be an over all better shot but might want to clone out the spotlight burning into the skull....lol! Again, welcome to the forums!

No problem on the quantity. Didn't even think about it.
The first three images were all shot @ 1600 with a 14-45mm wide open. The forth was the same lens at iso400 using on camera flash (which I personally hate but the gig was outside and the light consisted of one spotlight shining on the wall behind the band.) Thanks again |

all the first three the same? what a difference in noise from the middle to the other two.
after looking again I see the noise in the middle one just the subject didnt show too much. Can you manually set ISO? How dark are the shots if you bring it down to say 200 or 400?

I manually set the camera (Olympus E500) to 1600 due to the low light in the club. If I had set the ISO to anything lower the images would have looked Avant Garde and nothing would have been clear.
The unfortunate difficulty to shooting in low light |
