I like the red in the clouds and the smoothness of the colors I think you could play around with the curves a little to make the image a little less dark. I think the composition is good perhaps crop a little of the water out to place more emphisis on the sky.

A very moody shot, I like it! and I agree with the above. Play with the curves a bit and you get a lot more detail besides lightening it up.

The second one is definitely an improvement. I also think cropping a little of the water and perhaps a little off of the right hand side may improve it a little. Then again that may not be the mood you are trying to set. Thanks for sharing

I agree with most of this statement. I like all the water there but agree that the right side is a bit dark and could benefit from a small crop.
