Eagle Eye ( would you believe seagul eye?)
 Camera: Nikon D80 Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/1000) Aperture: f/5.6 Focal Length: 200 mm ISO Speed: 200 Caught him and a whole bunch more in a big parking lot. kool shot of a ring billed gull in its 2nd winter coat.. and not all gulls are seagulls.. many live inland and that N.America has over 24 species not including terns...
his feathers are over exposed and have lost some detail.. set your ev to -7 or so.. see what that gets you

wow ok.. so just open it up in your editing program and make a levels layer or adjust levels.. slide the white point in a smidge.. then move you mid tones to the left till you get the correct exposure on the feathers of the gull and your black point in a smidge to the right will boost your colours..
if you have photoshop, pse or PSP adjust in a layer and mask back in the "shoulder" of the wing as you will blow out what little detail you have there then show me

it is better than the image in the 1st post, but just a under exposed which is fine you can see the details in the gulls feathers... my second post was just a suggestion
