Question Golden Beetle

Tried the Macro Setting of My Panasonic's FZ-7.

can you give some inputs?

Great focus and DOF. However I find my eye keeps being drawn to the bottom left corner. Maybe it's the patch of white.

Was this the maximum closeup you could go with this gear?? I would love to see a head shot of this insect.

Nice macro, good DOF, but, Can be moved to the quadrants following the thirs rule.

I think it has great color and DOF but seems to me not as sharp as it could be....?
The antenna are where it looses it.... A good crop could help but my only suggestion is
try and move around and position yourself in a more advantageous spot in the future....
like if its a bug crawling away from you get 180 degrees so its crawling towards you...gives you more time and you can take several shots before it flys away or turns....
