I'm not sure I quite like the color on your hands. To me, it seems as though the color should stay within the mirror; within the boundaries, so to speak. Having the orange color on your hands seems to break that effect - to me.

Other than that, I really like the shot. Even though it seems a bit 'noisy'. A+ as usual.

On another note - I'd be really interested to know how you did this shot. Did you take a picture of you screaming like that and copy/paste it into the other picture or what? Very, very neat effect - either way.

Thanks for the kind comments as for the hands i initially masked the hands off as well but then it just looked strange for me also I was trying to portray how surrounding the mirror is reality and inside the mirror is my true self so to speak. Since the hands are not in the mirror I decided to leave them with that solorized kind of look the hand refectled in the mirror however doesn't have that effect.

This was a really fun image to make but it took me 6 hours to do mostly because I was just playing around and didn't properly plan things out but now I know what I did wrong. I had to do massive amounts of cloneing and healing to fill the mirror with the image of me.

It's two pictures one of the hands and the mirror but you could see the tripod in the mirror so then I moved the tripod set it lower and pointed it up at me to get the image I would use inside the mirror. I could have done a better job with the masks ect which prob would have saved me a lot of time down the road.

Cool

I liked the concept. It might give stunning photos if worked out well. The hands might looks better if they are crisp like in the mirror... The background might look better with less noise and a little more blurr. Have you tried giving more depth to the background in the mirror?

Good effort!!

Those are all ideas I want to work with. This was really just a test to see if I had the skills to do this now that I know it's possible I am planning a new shot that should have more impact and tell a better story. If only I had 8 arms so I could hold everything where it needed to be lol
