I pulled this picture just out of focus to set the mood, I know that this breaks the rules. Tell me what you think

I like the idea - I'd like to see it just a little more out of focus. If I hadn't read that you did it on purpose, I'd have thought it was just mis-focused. It's not out of focus enough that it spoke "mood" to me.

And the two specks of light at right-botom of the image give it the desired depth to add to the "Erie" Feeling as mentioned by bigdoggold..

I was thinking of croping the two lights out of the pic because they may be distracting, I don't know what to do. I plan to reshoot this shot in Black & white, when the snow falls.

I really like the space around her....I think clone out the two lights on the right and might even want to clone out the street light on the right leaving just the one light shining down on her. One of the first shots that was purposely out of focus that i liked..great job!

looka alot better...now my eyes aren't darting to the right only to come back on the subject. Now I can focus on girl and lightpole.....
