I watched a tv program the other night about a photographer who does historic buildings but he does them all in infrared so I thought I might as well give her a go. So here it is. It seems a bit gtainy to me but i tried doign a noise removal and decided I didnt like the "soft" look that gave it. Thought this might give it an older feel to it. This is what is left of an old mining town just north of the New mexico border.

i think the softness makes the photo a bit blurred....i mean not as in focus but the lines between each subject are blurred like its jumbled.....
not sure if that makes sense? i dont see the definition between bushes and building and whatnot....i guess just mostly up front in the foreground....does have a etheral feel to it.....so I guess all in all I like the Photo and think a bit more contrast and sharpening of the foreground could work but then again it might break the photo up too much and not give the same dreamy feel. Wind you are more artistic ones here with post processing so I'm sure you'll find the happy medium.....

Thanks guys. I actually did lighten the church up a bit as it really blended in with the sky before.

i like the composition on this, but the bush in the foreground doesnt seem to be reflecting any infrared. judging by the cloud cover there wasnt enough sun. for the best result its best to wait for a break in the clouds on days with lots of clouds. the sunnyer the better the result.
