Default Digital Film


I converted this to B/W and upped the contrast,
and burned some parts slightly, if you thing
something should be changed just let me know.

Looks like a shallow DOF, only the closest portion is sharp. I would have liked a little more of the roll to be in focus. I think an exposed film can be a more interesting subject.

I too would like to see the right side of the film in focus. Other than that, its perfect. Its so simplistic, but visually attractive. Thanks for sharing.

thanks, that roll of film got crushed but
i had another one kiking around but its too
curly but im trying to fix that.

In addition to using a smaller aperture, try shooting it from a longer distance to the subject. That may help expand your depth of field to a greater degree. The shapes and shadows offer an endless variety of abstract compositions. Good eye as well as a good idea!

Ok so this is the best i could come up with i had to use tape for it to stay like that(i can remove the film grain filter if people dont like it.)

Film grain should stay, at least on the film itself. Maybe it can go on the wall.

My favorite improvment is that you didn't cut off the tip of the top of the film.

ok, so in CS3 how would i go about only useing the filter on the film just with the magnetc lasso?
