Hi Cesar, this is a really pretty shot. I'm not sure about the crop in terms of the feet being in or more out of the photo, but I like it a lot. The focus is nice and sharp on her eyes and really nicely placed within the photo. I like it, well done.

It's not my daughter or my shot, but if I were you I'd be very proud of bot

i WISH photos had an anonamos(sp.) rating system,

if they did I'd give this a 9.5.

Hello, Excellent lighting, pose, and B&W conversion. This is a lovely portrait. There is a little tension in the image, and I'm not sure but I think it's the fact that the empty space is on the right. The general rule, which is hard to apply in this photo, is to give your subject empty space to look into. I'm not quite sure how to apply that here because her face is angled to camera right, but her eyes and shoulders are "looking" camera left. If this is a crop, consider cropping with more empty space to the other side and see how it looks. Again, beautiful picture!

Everything seems just right, except maybe the crop.

She looks so serious. I'm trying to figure out if she might be sad, mad, or just wanting you to hurry up, and get the shot over with so she can go play.

I love it. I'd also give it a 9.5

What a beautiful photo ,I love the depth almost a 3D effect ,and the expression WOW ,I would like to see it croped a little closer i think ,I have seen some nice photos taken at this angle with the person leaning against a wall ,so don't think you need a lot od space to the left of the subject & she is not looking to the right so I don't think there needs to be as much space on on the right ,I would like to see you play with the crop ,it is an awsome photoas is, like others have stated a 9.5 for sure , I did not see your settings & was wondering did you shoot this in B&W ,it is one of the best B&Ws I have seen ,mine certenaly do not come close when I convert from color . Great job & a beautiful model.

Thank you all for your comments, I agree with you all about the cropping but as WooD said she was just waiting for me to take the shoot so she can go play!... thanks to all.

Hi Cesar, great photo even though the feet are missing. You did a really good job on the b&w, I also checked out your blog and saw your tutorial on the old man photo, but eh... mi castillano es chupa lol. I'll try one of those translation thingies on it.

Laters...

This is a great photo as it is! Very nice...you should be proud. I like the texture in the grass, the softness in her skin and her expression. She's adorable!
